9th: Little Red Cap

Once upon a time, there lived a dear little girl who always wore a red silk cap, and so was called Little Red-Cap.

One day, her mother asked her to bring a nice piece of meat and bottle of wine to her grand mother. The grandmother lived far away in the wood, a long walk from the village, and as Little Red-Cap came among the trees she met a Wolf. She didn't know the wickedness of the animal, so she was not frightened. By talking with her, Wolf knew what she would do. The Wolf was thinking to himself that her fresh must be good taste. He decided to eat not only the girl but also her grandmother.
The Wolf recommended her looking at the flowers and hearing the birds sweetly singing. She decided to gather flowers for pleasing her grandmother. While she doing it, the Wolf ran straight to the house of the old grandmother. He knocked at the door, pretended to be Little Red-Cap, and ate the old lady. Then he put on her clothes, tied her night-cap over his head, got into the bed, and drew the blankets over him. And he waited for Little Red-Cap coming...
